The John Dowe

This digital exhibit chronicles the John Dowe collection, a collection of family records belonging to Montgomery's Dowe family.  The collection was given to the Montgomery County Archives (MCA) in 2008 by the Alabama Historical Commission (AHC) as a long-term loan. The agreement gave the MCA authority to process the collection, as well as display items and records from the collection. The collection has been processed and is available for public view.
