The John Dowe

Marie Joseph Dowe was the oldest of John and Margaret Dowe's four children. Marie Dowe was born March 5, 1885 in Montgomery. When her family moved to Anniston in the late 1890s she remained in Montgomery with her grandmother, Joanna. Marie never married and stayed home at the Dowe house until her death on August 7, 1936 at the age of 50. 3
